I think I was pretty young when the first Virginia Tech shooting happened. I just remember hearing about it on the news, and hearing some imageboards insensitively say "New high score" about the amount of people killed.
I just don't get this. Why? Yes, I know that people have mental imbalances or grudges that cause them to kill. But why there, and why again? Why wasn't there more security after the first incident? These are tragedies we must learn from. History DOES repeat itself, and we must not just ignore what has happened. Had security been made better (sorry if it was, and I just don't know of it), this wouldn't have happened once more.
My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones today in the Virginia Tech shooting.
